Eligibility: This is a supplementary group program. It is required that students are studying privately with a Suzuki teacher. Students must be studying at Suzuki Violin, Viola or Cello Book 4 level or higher. Students must be at least 11 years old and in the 6th grade and up.
Acceptance is based on student audition and private teacher recommendation. Technical skills, quality of performance, memorization skills, music reading skills, character, and commitment to the student’s instrument and the Suzuki philosophy will be considered.
Auditions: Video requirements: memorized performance of the following:
two polished pieces from the Suzuki literature in Suzuki Book 4 or higher
Audition videos must be submitted online via YouTube link.
Teachers must submit recommendations directly to Dolce Music Studio.
